Metal detection and accurate scaling are a must!
Every Ounce Counts!
Everyone knows both of the old adages below are true:
"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and that accurate numbers never lie!"

A Check Weigher can literally pay for itself in cost savings in a relatively short time period:
  • You are bagging almonds – 8 oz. bags.
  • Your cost for almonds is $4.00/pound.
  • Your packaging machinery produces 50 bags/minute.
    • That’s 3,000 bags per hour
    • 24,000 bags per 8-hour shift
    • 120,000 bags per 5-day, one shift work week.
  • If you are just  1/8 ounce heavy per package:
    • You are over-packing  6.25 ounces per minute
    • That’s  375 oz. (23.4 pounds) per hour
    • That’s 187 pounds per 8 hour shift = $750
    • In a 5-day work week – five 8-hours shifts
      – you GIVE AWAY $3,750 in free product.
Save mone using this machine

Using this calculation, the BPSG Check Weigher/Metal Detector Combo, at $23,900 pays for itself in just 6.4 weeks.!

More importantly if your employees are mistakenly under filling your packages the fines and legal entanglements and loss of customers can force you out of business and shut you down!
